Personal notes:

I was born in Thessalonica but I was raised in Thasos because our family had to do a lot of moving around due to my father’s profession.

I spent all my childhood in Thasos where I made many friends and we had a lovely time together doing things that were very interesting and easy to do on an island.

Life on an island is quite different than life in the city. During the summer months there is a lot of tourism and the locals have the chance to meet new people and new cultures. This keeps their minds open. On the contrary, in the winter everything comes to a standstill, people stay in because of the bad weather and children get bored easily.

Of course, when people spend a lot of time seeing one another – close relatives, friends – personal relations are enhanced / strengthened.

I came to Volos about 5 years ago to attend University – I have studied History and Archaeology – and I completed my studies six months ago. I obtained my diploma with a very good grade and now I am looking forward to starting work as a professor.

I am single and I am a very outgoing person. I like to go out with friends and to socialize with many people. At least, this is part of the social education my parents gave me.

Both my parents are doctors and they have always told me that I would have to have a University degree no matter what.

My future plans include a lot of ambitions concerning my career – I would also like to enrich my knowledge and become a better and more competitive professional – and , although I know that this is quite difficult to achieve, my parents have taught me that anything is possible through determination and hard work.
